We've been prepping all year for this....a Robotics competition team. Our instructor Anya actually interned with them over the summer so we are really excited to have her here as a Coach.
Expectations - We want a team that is self-motivated and ready to work. We have to build our robots, test them, and make a presentation. The competition is February 28 in Vincennes, Indiana. We'd like all of the team to be there so please put in your calendars NOW.

For WLIS 6th Graders that didn't take the program last semester. This is an introduction to the Stock Market by using a stock market simulator through the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). Students will divide into teams and use imaginary money to buy and sell different kinds of securities. The goal is to have basic skills in analyzing and researching.
There is a national game and contest for students called the Stock Market Game, for 4 - 12th graders. We've had a 1st Place team and last year, we've had 5 teams place in the top 20 out of over 200 teams. Students do not need to bring their own computers.
Thank you to First Farmers Bank and Trust for sponsoring the Stock Market Game
