3D Design 101
with Charles Walker
Grade: 2nd +
Sessions: Sundays at 2 PM - 3 PM

Students will learn how to design a 3D model with the Tinkercad online 3D modeling program, and bring their imagination into the real world.
Note: $5 materials fee is included.

Beginners and seasoned members are invited to sharpen cubing skills with Nate who has many years of experience competing and running a cubing club. He will teach algorithms, help time members, and prepare for competition.
WonderLand hopes to partner again with the Midwest Cubing Association for a timed competition for the Spring. Stay tuned!

Learn about the masters and also have fun with arts and crafts as we make our own masterpieces! We'll explore different mediums and create art using the techniques we learn. If you were in our art class the last 12 weeks, we're repeating some of the lessons and adding a few new things.

Course Description - Learn about Python programming language. The class is for students who have knowledge of Python.
Requirements: Students are expected to be comfortable in typing since this is not a block-like coding language (in contrast to Scratch). We recommend students bring their own laptops since we will install Python on their device and they will be able to do more at home.

Learn to assemble robots that can roll like a car and do handstands! You can also design your own algorithm to make the robots dance to your favorite songs and navigate across a special map. All you need is some creativity, basic math skills, and a simple app to get started. Are you down for the challenge?

For 6th Graders and Up! This is an introduction to the Stock Market by using a stock market simulator through the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). Students will divide into teams and use imaginary money to buy and sell different kinds of securities. The goal is to have basic skills in analyzing and researching. There is a national game and contest for students called the Stock Market Game, for 4 - 12th graders. Last year, we had a 1st Place team and in both semesters, we had 5 teams place in the top 20 out of over 200 teams. Students must bring their own computer.
